THURSDAY: The Cultural Arts Center in New Albany will be hosting an opening reception for Estuary: a Staff and Community Artist Showcase from 5-7 PM. This exhibit features the artwork of Floyd County Library and Cultural Arts Center staff artists Josh Bleecker, Al Gorman, Jessica Hartman, Bethany Parrish, and Daniel Vance, as well as Fred DiGiovanni, Hannah Durham, and Matt McDermott of the museum’s Artists Roundtable Feedback Group.

Maybe It’s Fate presents Echoes from Lebanon, a multimedia installation that explores memory, displacement, and the unseen aftermath of conflict. Created by filmmaker Evan Mascagni, who is of Lebanese descent, the piece uses photography and video to confront the dehumanization of war and its devastating toll on the most vulnerable.
